Nigel stayed at Leeds United until 2003.
He moved to Everton where he stayed until the end of his playing career in 2006.
Nigel also enjoyed a successful International career playing for the England national team.
Since his retirement from professional football he has returned to cricket, playing regularly for a Leeds team called Leeds Modernians in the Airedale & Wharfdale Senior Cricket League.
